Remember that skin texture, form and color change due to many factors including diet, season, health, stress levels etc.


Cleansers
• Buy water soluble product for your skin type or generic and gentle
• Do not buy products with lauryl sulfate or laureth sulfate in them
• Choose a Paraben phthalate & alcohol free product

Don’t use toners

• Unless it is alcohol free - too drying otherwise
• Phthalate (fragrance) ,Paraben free

Moisturizers

• Purpose it to hydrate and protect skin
• Do not buy moisturizers containing alcohol
• Should be Paraben and phthalate (fragrance) free


CONCERNED WITH AGING?


• Something with alphahydroxy may be useful however if you have darker skin you can be up t0 50% more sun sensitive and risk scarring
• Best choice is to use antioxidant, organic anti-ageing moisturizers and serums

Sunscreen
• Use 15 spf or higher is best defense against ageing
• Choose one clean of harmful chemicals
• Titanium dioxide as the main ingredient works
• Sappho mineral makeup has a natural spf for both uva and uvb rays
• You still should wear a sunscreen
