HOW TO CHOOSE A MINERAL LIP COLOR

Fair skin: look good in true pinks, light peaches, nudes in apricot shades, honey cherry reds, and dark berry – avoid brown tones

Medium: look good in medium pinks, roses, and nudes with peach tones caramels, and soft plums

olive: look good in brown reds, strong reds, raisin, berry, mahoganies and toffees; - avoid candy pinks or lipsticks with white or silver, as this will make you look sallow
Dark/ebony: look good in golden beige, caramel, deep berry, crimson red, plums

Pam looks great in bold reds and bright pinks and full bodied orange tones

SHADE OF LIPS

• Lip shapes have constantly changed over the years
• Now it is more about staining the lips rather than drawing a shape
• The look now tends toward the stain or gloss effect staying away from heavy lip liners
• by using a lip pencil matching or a little deeper than the lipstick color you can subtly even out lips sizes and shapes.

Thin lips
• Use the pencil or lipstick (carefully) just outside the natural line
• Avoid dark colors as they can make thin mouths look mean

Thick lips
• You may want to use the pencil just inside the lip line
• avoid full on gloss for photos as lips can appear misshapen.

Uneven lips
• Use the pencil to fill in where the lips are uneven

MAKE UP TIP
• Lips can match what you are wearing or for a dramatic look can be an opposite to what you have on.
