WHY CHEMICAL FREE
Not all Mineral Make-up is chemical free. Parabens are a group of chemicals widely used as preservative in cosmetics. They are linked to various cancers. Research shows they also have estrogenic effects especially in relation to woman's risk of breast cancer and are linked to reproductive abnormalities in young boys exposed to such chemicals either prior to puberty or as fetuses. These boys may have increased risk for un-descended testicles, testicular cancer, sperm abnormalities and prostrate disorders
Phthalate (thalates) are esters of phthalic acid which are mainly used as plasticizers and in cosmetics they are used to soften products to make them feel silkier. Phthalates are liked to immune suppression, cancer, endocrine disruption, reproductive and developmental harm as well as organ damage.
Dimethicone: used in many cosmetics to make them go farther and feel silkier - just like putting plastic wrap on your skin - can't breathe and that can't be good. Linked to organ tumors and non biodigradable!
